Our Haven House shelter for homeless women without children has a two-month waiting list. At least 20 women contact DWC weekly asking for help with their substance addiction. We average one woman entering our Recovery Program for every 20 women calling. People asking for help from their addiction need help now, not later.
We are expanding our Recovery Program to serve nine additional homeless women in recovery from alcohol and other drug addiction and their children. Your support of this important effort to serve more women and children is vital!
