It’s a question we’re often asked as children—but one we continue to ask ourselves throughout life.
For the women served by the Downtown Women’s Center, this question represents hope, healing, and the courage to imagine a future free from addiction. At our 2026 Downtown Women’s Center Spring Luncheon, we experienced powerful stories of transformation and learned how DWC walks alongside women every day as they reclaim their lives and rediscover who they are meant to be.

Serving more moms with children brings the challenge of needing to increase our income. Our Spring Luncheon is our only fundraising event of the year. We learned how trauma is tied to addiction and how our women are recovering and living clean, sober, and productive lives. Children will never have to see their moms addicted to drugs or alcohol again. Donations are always accepted. Any amount, at any time. Thank you for your support!
